SERVING SIZE : 2
THE RECIPE:
Starting with the sauce, mix together soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free), honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, and water or beef broth.
Cook jasmine white rice according to the package directions.
Moving on, dice or shave 6-8 oz beef. I like buying pre cut beef to make it easy:)
Dice broccoli.
Place your pan on the stove over medium heat, and pour in a little oil.
Add shaved or diced beef and sauté until cooked to your desired temperature.
Then remove the beef and set it aside, leaving the pan where it is on the same heat.
Throw in your chopped broccoli in that same pan for 6-7 minutes, constantly stirring.
Pour your sauce into the pan over the broccoli.
Add the beef back into the pan. Stir so the beef and broccoli are both submerged in the sauce.
Simmer for a few minutes while stirring.
Split your cooked rice into 2 bowls and add your beef and broccoli with some sauce on top.
Top with optional cilantro. Your beef and broccoli is ready to enjoy!
