Air Fryer Broccoli Tots

Introducing your new favorite snack: BROCCOLI TOTS🥦 easy to make, packed with nutrients, and kids will love them!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head of broccoli, diced
  • 1.5 tablespoon starch of choice (I used potato)
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions
 

  • Prep your broccoli by cutting off the stem and into pieces so it tenderizes faster.
  • Add your broccoli to a pot of boiling water. Approximately 5-7 minutes, you don’t want it too tender.
  • Remove your broccoli from the pot and cut and dice into small pieces. 
  • Add your small pieces to a towel and squeeze out the excess water. (After I boiled it, diced it and got rid of some of the stem,  and pressed out the water with a towel, it only ended up being only 2 1/3 cups broccoli.)
  • Once all the water has been pressed out, add your pressed broccoli, starch, cheese and garlic salt to the bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine!
  • After thoroughly mixed, shape into “tot form.” 
  • Add to the air fryer for 8 min at 375 degrees or until golden brown on the outside.
  • I just used chipotle ranch for my dip because I wanted that kick of spice but also pairs soooo well with ranch!! Enjoy!
