Air Fryer Cauliflower Tots

This air-fried dish is the perfect nutrient-dense snack - especially if you don't know what to make with your leftover cauliflower! I promise everyone will love these bite-size treats! It's the perfect thing to make as an appetizer, for a sports game, or as a fun snack! And when you serve this, nobody will even know that it’s cauliflower ;)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup flour, to thicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Prep your cauliflower by cutting off the stem and into pieces so it tenderizes faster.
  • Add your cauliflower to a pot of boiling water. Approximately 6-8 minutes, you don’t want it too tender.
  • Strain your water out of the cauliflower and mash very lightly with a masher or fork. Once mashed, dice into small pieces. 
  • Add your chopped pieces to a towel and squeeze out the excess water.
  • Once all the water has been pressed out, add your pressed cauliflower, flour, cheddar cheese, onion powder, and garlic salt to the bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine!
  • After thoroughly mixed, shape into “tot form.” 
  • Add to the air fryer for 8-10 min at 400 degrees or until golden brown on the outside.
  • I just used chipotle aioli for my dip because I wanted that kick of spice but also pairs soooo well with ranch!! Enjoy! xx
