Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

These Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are a perfect balance of sweet and savory, with the natural sweetness of ripe bananas and the richness of chocolate chips. Serve them warm with a cup of coffee or as a delightful snack anytime during the day!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 extra ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 and 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup crushed walnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • First mash up your bananas and then add in your eggs, butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  • Once the wet ingredients are well mixed, add in the remaining dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
  • Spray muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray and evenly divide muffin mixture up into 12 muffins. I topped mine with granola and baked for 16-18 minutes at 350 degrees.
