Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martinis

The espresso martini of the season🎃 it’s so easy to add a pumpkin flavor to the classic espresso martini- I added a couple drops of Pumpkin spice extract, some shakes of pumpkin spice, and instead of simple syrup I used a little maple syrup to bring out the Fall flavor!🍁🍂

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker

Ingredients
  

  • 3 ounces vodka (~2 shots)
  • 3 ounces espresso (~2 shots)
  • 1.5 ounces Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur  (~1 shot)
  • a couple drops of pumpkin spice extract (I got mine at a local grocery store but to be sure Amazon has it)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pumpkin spice (the seasoning)
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Optional: tiny splash of cream if you like your espresso martinis creamy
  • Ice, to shake
  • Coffee beans, to garnish & top;)

Instructions
 

  • Brew fresh espresso and let it cool, or use premade/store-bought espresso for convenience.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, cooled espresso (or premade), Kahlúa, pumpkin spice extract, pumpkin spice seasoning, maple syrup, and ice.
    Optional: Add a splash of cream if you like a creamy martini.
  • Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well chilled and frothy.
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass.
  • Top with a few coffee beans & a sprinkle of pumpkin spice for that extra touch!
